Dirty Gringo Quesadillas
Want a punch in the mouth? Well, not a literal punch in the mouth. But wake up your taste buds. Try the Dirty Gringo Quesadillas.
Servings: 1 per person
Ingredients
- chicken breast – 1 per person
- 2 flour tortillas – per person
- 1 dab of butter
- 1 T Dirty Gringo per piece of chicken
- 2 T olive/grapeseed or other oil
- guacamole however you make it, for finish
- shredded cheese of your liking fiesta blend, 4 cheese, colby jack
- sour cream for finish
- salsa verde optional
- refried beans optional
Instructions
- saute chicken that has been seasoned with DG in hot pan with oil until done
- let chicken rest so it can be sliced
- add a dab of butter to one side of each tortilla
- is a separate pan, warm one torilla at a time (butter side down) helps with browning
- add chicken (layer ingredients)
- add salsa
- add cheese
- add refried beans (optional)
- add sprinkle of DG then top with other tortilla
- flip and let the new tortilla get crispy
- pull, let cool, cut into 1/4 and serve
